How To Apply
Apply for a place
As a Partner Provider we administer our own application system. Any application to the Edinburgh state system where first, second and third choice is asked for refers only to nursery classes attached to schools or council run nursery schools and does not include Partner Providers.

Funded places regardless of home locality
One intake in August
At Greenbank Pre school funded places are available regardless of your home locality. You can add your child’s name to our waiting list from their second birthday.
Session options
When your form is received by the Admissions Secretary your child’s name is added to the waiting list.
Spread over 4 days
These hours can be spread over 4 days (8.25am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday) with a Friday off.
Mornings only
We also offer mornings only. We do not offer afternoon sessions only.
Full week option
If you require a full week for your child (8.25am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday) you have the option of paying for the last hour of attendance.
Attendance expectation
We request that children attend for at least 3 sessions a week.
Admissions timing
We aim to have one intake in August at the start of the academic year. The Admissions Secretary begins to offer places after the Easter Break for August admissions.

Apply online
We accept children at the nursery from the age of three. However, to maximise your chances of getting a place, you can apply to be added to the waiting list before your child turns three. Your child must be at least two years of age before making your application.
If your child is at least two years of age, please complete the following form to have your child’s name added to the waiting list. If your child is currently less than two years of age, please wait until they have their second birthday before applying.
