About Greenbank Preschool

About Us

In the 1970s Greenbank Church opened a playgroup in one of its halls in response to the growing need for such facilities in the area.

In 1999 the playgroup went into partnership with The City of Edinburgh and 2003 it changed its name to Greenbank Preschool. The Kirk Session of Greenbank Church is responsible for the safe running of Preschool, and the Management Committee is made up of four church members and four parents, with the minister as Honorary Chair.

The children, staff and families have special services in the church to celebrate Harvest, Christmas and Easter.
