Pocket Picnic Garden

Greenbank Preschool entered the Pocket Picnic Garden competition with a local heritage garden.

The garden had a local heritage theme. We grew healing plants from seed and used pebbles gathered on Portobello beach and in the Highlands. We also used slate from Greenbank Parish Church. Our garden was voted a winner and is currently being showcased on the Eco-Schools Scotland website. We have maintained our Eco Green Flag status for over 10 years, and this year we were appraised by the Council and the Scottish Government for our Eco achievements.
